YOU are Loveable just the Way YOU ARE!!!!

WELCOME!

If you ever feel held back by recurring thoughts that you are not loveable just the way you are then this post is for you!

My work with singles seeking love has revealed that a good many of them simply do not believe that they are loveable just the way they are.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

First, I would like to point out that happy couples come in all shapes, sizes, ages, come from all walks of life and so on.

Second, I would like to note that we are all ‘works in progress’.

I invite you to consider and write down your response to the following question:

What is your ‘story’ about why you haven’t found true, lasting love?

What did you discover?

I’ll ‘spill the beans’.

For years, my story around my frustration with romantic pursuits included the false, but the largely unconscious belief, that I was not loveable for the person that I am.

Things like:

  • I would be more attractive if I lost a few pounds and got in really good ‘shape’.

This belief did motivate me to get in ‘shape’… but alas did not result in better-matched romantic relationships or true, lasting love.

  • More of the right women would be attracted to me if I just had a better paying job.  Intelligent, thoughtful women won’t be attracted to a Mental Health Worker who earns….

When I finally secured a really high paying job, I didn’t attract women who were better matches or bring me true, lasting love.

I could go on and on.

What about you?

What we hold as ‘truth’ in our thoughts becomes our reality even if what we believe is really not true.

I ask you to consider the following:

Far too many people under value what they are and overvalue what they are not.

I’ll cut to the chase.

You are loveable just the way you are.

I invite you to take the time to reflect on, list, and then celebrate all of the qualities that make you a ‘catch’.

To get you started, I have included some examples of qualities some of my Clients have, but somehow ‘overlooked’ or undervalued.  Characteristics like:

  • Patient
  • Kind
  • Giving
  • Loving
  • Caring
  • Supportive
  • Thoughtful
  • Uniquely physically beautiful
  • Artistic
  • Sensible
  • Creative

Be sure to take the time to celebrate all of your adorable qualities!!!!

You might consider doing this exercise with one of more of your closest friends – you could host a ‘self-appreciation party’.

Wether you do this activity alone or in asocial context be sure to listen to and let in all of the positive qualities you rediscover about yourself.

It is time for you to stand up and shine!

I sincerely hope that you found this post inspiring and useful.

I am here if you need me.
