Happy Holidays

Today is the day before the Christmas holiday here in America.

As is my tradition, I would like to share something I find inspiring and uplifting.

As I shared last week, for me, the holiday season evokes reverence.

It also evokes attitudes that reflect:

  • Being of service to my fellow man
  • Being compassionate, tolerant and forgiving

As many of you know, I lived in a Spiritual community for a number of years.

We used to sing a song that I found very inspiring.

Here are the lyrics:

“Love, give, serve, purify, meditate, realize.
Do good, be good.  Be kind and be compassionate.
Adapt, adjust, accommodate.
Bear insult, bear injury…
Highest practice.”

What is your ‘highest practice’?

For me this little song embodies the Spirit of the season.

Blessings on you and yours.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.

Happy Holidays
