Happy First Day of Spring!

Ah Spring!  Flowers blooming, birds singing, bees buzzing, interest in love re-surfacing: What a delightful time of year!

Spring generally brings with it thoughts of renewal, rebirth, and an energy of curiosity about what’s next.

How do you plan to ‘spring into action’ on your quest for the Love of your life?

If true love has evaded you thus far, lament not, the Love Coach has some ideas that may just put some bounce back in your stride!

I would like to begin by sharing a quote that really got me thinking about what’s truly possible in life: (source, unknown)

  • ‘Just because something is out of reach does NOT mean that YOU can not reach it.’

Does the Love of your  life just seem out of reach?

If you answered, ‘yes’, then, you are in good company and right where you are supposed to be.

You see often the closer we get to actually fulfilling a life long dream, the harder it gets to keep pushing onward toward the goal.

That’s right, the closer you get to true, lasting love, the harder the journey may seem.

This is because true, lasting love is not for the faint of heart.  Rather, it is a path for the truly devoted.

In order to find true love, you must let go of all that is standing in your way.

In order to realize your full potential, you must be willing to give up what you are at this point in time.  Recall the miracle of the butterfly?

A little story….

Imagine that you are the Captain of a sailing ship.  You are in the middle of the ocean.  It is stormy.  Your ship is taking on water.

To save the ship you must make your craft lighter.  You do so by gathering up everything that is not essential to your survival and casting it over board.

After doing so, you regain control of your ship and begin to make headway through the stormy waters.

The immense effort to save your ship has made you very tired.  However, you continue to steer your ship and as the storm breaks up, you see land and a safe harbor.

So, when it comes to your love life, what would you cast away- what worries, what fears, what regrets would you cast off of your ship so that you can find the safe, rejuvenating harbor of true, lasting love?

Make a list now.

Make sure that it is complete.

Now a little ritual:

Do you have your list?

Here’s what to do:

Take your list and tear it into tiny little pieces.  Now put the pieces in an envelope and toss them in the garbage.

If you have a woodstove or a fire place and feel comfortable burning them, then carefully do so.

How do feel?

I invite you to repeat the following positive love-attracting affirmation out-loud:

‘I am a child of God.

I was created in Love.

I am worthy of Love.

I invite the ONE that I am intended to be with into my heart and life.’

I further invite you to write the above affirmation out in your best handwriting and tape it to your bathroom mirror.

Say it out-loud every morning as you start your day and every evening before you retire.

Do this for the next 21 days.

Don’t ask ‘Why?’

Just, pretty please, do this for the next 21 days.

Feel free to let me know how it goes, by posting a comment on my blog or emailing me at: ron@inspiredcommitment.com
