‘The Love YOU take is Equal to the LOVE YOU Make!’

WELCOME!

I woke up this AM with the Beatles playing in my head.  They wrote so many songs about love.

From my perspective, when it comes to love, it is truly in giving that we receive.

How about you?

What inspires you to love?

How can all of us become more inspired to love?

If you’ve been on my blog lately you will be familiar with the following love attracting affirmation:

“I am a child of God.

I was created in Love,

I am worthy of Love,

I open my heart to Love.

I invite the ONE that I am intended to be with to join me in love.”

From my world-view, Love, not money ‘makes the world go round’.

Love is everywhere.  It is our essence.  It is our birthright.

It inspires us to have compassion for those less fortunate than ourselves, binds a child to its loving mother’s breast, and calls us forward to give fully of ourselves to serve those around us.

So why is romantic love so difficult?

One reason may be that we expect to get before we give.

The Saint Francis Prayer comes to mind.  I’ll share it here:

‘Lord make me an instrument of Thy Peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow Love,

Where there is injury, pardon,

Where there is doubt, faith,

Where there is despair, hope,

Where there is darkness, light,

and where there is sadness, joy.

Our Divine Master,

Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console,

To be understood as to understand,

To be loved, as to Love.

For it is in giving, that we receive,

It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned,

And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.’

I have used this prayer as part of my daily meditation practice for over 40 years.

I recommend that you contemplate its meaning and seek to give love for loves’ sake.

Turn on your LOVE Light, make the world a better place, and attract that quality, loving man you want and deserve in the process.

Look for opportunities to share love.

To attract that deep, rejuvenating, healing, inspiring romantic love that you long for:

  • dig deep,
  • let go of any and all self-doubt, and
  • know that you have the capacity to give endless amounts of love and in so doing will always be blessed with all of the love you need.

As I write this, I can’t help but think about the love my wife and I share.

An old Allman Brothers song comes to mind;

‘You’re my blue sky, You’re my sunny day, Lord you know it makes me high, when You turn Your love my way, turn Your love my way…’

From my world-view, there is never a time when the Lord, the universe, the spiritual world- whatever words you use to describe the source of life- is not pouring forth endless amounts of Love.

Seek to share the love that lives within your soul.

You have so much to give and therefore you have so much capacity to receive.

Seek to empty your cup so it can be filled.

Live a life inspired by love.

The Love YOU take is Equal to the LOVE YOU Make! (love this beautiful blog post)

“The End” is a song by The Beatles composed by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney) for the album Abbey Road. It was the last song recorded collectively by all four Beatles.

And my favorite line is the last one.
“And in the end, the love you take
Is equal to the love you make.”

love the connection between this song, my fave beatles song and this beautiful blog post Ron!

just love you and your work! xolaura
